Impressed by the Twitter Remote widget from the Twittercounter people, I have written a WordPress plugin to make life a little easier for my fellow WordPress users: you can fill in your preferences and use the widget as a regular WordPress widget.
You can download the plugin from the WordPress plugin repository.
Here’s bit more information and the inevitable screenshot. People love screenshots.
- Download the .zip file
- unpack the .zip file in your plugins directory
- In the admin section of your blog, activate the plugin
- In the “Appearance” menu, choose “Widgets”
- Activate the twitter remote widget
- Fill in the form you see on the left
- Click “done” and save your changes
- Report your succes or failure in the comments below.
BTW: the name “bloem” you see in the screenshot is my daughter. My twitter name is @zjuul. I tweet in Dutch, please beware
So what are you waiting for? Grab the plugin!

hi. Thanks for plugin
perfect.
Regards
Hi. I like your plugin, but it’s not working for me. I’ve been using it for a week or more and nothing has changed. I still have the same “sample” visitors. I know that people have been jumping to my site directly from Twitter, so why aren’t they showing up. This is the WordPress plugin. I don’t know what’s wrong. Thanks.
I think you love dark color
Nice plugin. Install was exactly as you wrote.
Perfect! Thx.
excellent post Here’s some pass forward: Thought for the day? : CAUTION! – Driver legally blonde!
Need more posts just like this one. Props.
Great plugin! Thanks for sharing it

Very good post. I just now stumbled upon your weblog and wished to state that I’ve got really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. At any rate I most certainly will be subscribing for a feed and I hope you write again soon!
Happy anniversary Flo! My friends love their iPhones, but like you, I hate how Apple tries to take over my computer. Dont forget to search for 666canberra (our station) on TuneIn.
Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
Equally, the topic is practically the sweetest on this valuable post. I harmonise with your conclusions and will eagerly look forward to your next updates. Saying thanks will not just be enough, for the great clearance in your script.
I couldn’t show too much not the same information on this clot of content, so it was good to show his one. I will be back again to look at some other postings that you have another time.
